Exterior Detail Packages

Exterior car detailing is a thorough process that goes beyond a regular car wash. It aims to clean, restore, and protect the exterior surfaces of your vehicle, including the paint, wheels, tires, trim, and windows.

Education

  • Washing and Drying: A meticulous hand wash using pH-balanced shampoos and microfiber towels is performed to remove dirt and grime, avoiding scratches. The car is then thoroughly dried, often including door jambs and using air tools to minimize water drips.

  • Claying: A clay bar treatment is used to remove embedded contaminants like tree sap, tar, industrial fallout, and brake dust that regular washing can't eliminate, leaving a smooth surface.

  • Polishing: Polishing helps restore the paint's shine and remove minor imperfections like swirl marks and light scratches, bringing back the original luster.

  • Waxing or Sealing: A wax or sealant is applied to protect the paint against UV rays, road salt, bird droppings, and other contaminants. Wax provides a glossy finish and good protection, while sealants offer longer-lasting protection and durability.

  • Trim and Wheel Cleaning: This includes specialized cleaning and dressing of tires and wheels, removing brake dust and grime, and restoring faded trim and plastic components.

  • Glass Cleaning: Windows are cleaned to remove water spots and streaks, enhancing visibility.

  • Paint Correction (Optional): For advanced detailing or addressing deeper imperfections, paint correction may be performed to remove scratches and swirl marks, improving paint clarity.

Benefits

  • Enhanced Aesthetic Appeal: Restores the car's shine, making the paint, chrome trim, windows, wheels, and tires gleam like new.

  • Paint Protection: Creates a barrier against harmful elements like UV rays, bird droppings, tree sap, road debris, and oxidation, preserving the paintwork and potentially extending its life.

  • Increased Resale Value: A well-maintained exterior can significantly enhance a vehicle's resale value.

  • Extended Lifespan: By safeguarding the paintwork and preventing damage, detailing helps maintain the car's structural integrity and potentially prolong its lifespan.

  • Improved Driving Safety: Clean windows and headlights contribute to better visibility on the road.
